Alberta Paddlefest 2011 was a great success! The AWA would like to thank all those who made the festival a wonderful time: the Sundre club; Paddle Alberta; our primary sponsors Aquabatics and Undercurrents; the Red Deer River Ranch; Chuck Lee, the AWA Executive Director, the numerous instructors and most importantly you. This festival wouldn’t exist if you didn’t come out to paddle. Over 120 people were out this year, which speaks to the success of this event! Initial planning for next year’s festival will begin shortly and 2012 dates will be posted soon.
I hope you had as much fun as I did during the weekend. If you have any comments on the festival, especially how we can improve, please take the time to email them to Chuck, myself, or just post them below.
